The Westonka Girls Soccer team is holding a fundraiser this Saturday from 9-1 at the Minnetonka Drive In.  They will be washing cars AND dogs! It’s Dog Days on Saturday!

Academic Recognition/Academic All State

The Mound Westonka Varsity Baseball team was one of just six teams in Class AAA to receive the Gold Award for Academics this past spring. This is out of 64 teams playing Class AAA Baseball. In addition, senior Evan Dahl was one of 15 Class AAA players to be selected Academic All-State.

Boys Golf

Senior Michael Uhas and Freshman Mitch Krebsbach competed at the Boys’ AA State Golf Tournament June 12th and 13th at Ridges at Sand Creek Golf Course (Jordan, MN). Uhas fired a 74 on Day 1, followed by a 76 on Day 2, finishing in a tie for 18th out of the 88 players in the

A banquet on Monday June 11th celebrated the successful yet condensed softball season. Varsity coaches Scott Eidsness and Eddie Kutz (assisted by Luke Rose) reported that the team had 27 indoor practices due to weather and played their entire 20 game regular season in 21 days. Teagan Schmidt has been named the Most Positive Gymnastics Athlete in the State of Minnesota! The girls golf season started late. the girls didn’t get out until April 30th. Then it was match after match with the girls not finishing very high in the conference. Westonka softball makes it to Section Finals Mound Westonka varsity softball marched on in the section playoffs on Tuesday 5/29 with a loss to Benilde St. Margaret (BSM) 9-3. A rain out prevented the game from finishing and when play resumed on Wednesday no runs were scored in the final 2 and a half innings
