She also earned the Yost-Haddorff-Leopold female athlete award. Anderson played soccer, basketball and golf for the White Hawks, earning All-Conference and All-Conference Honorable Mention two times each.

She was a four-time captain and earned nine varsity letters and 11 Spotlight on Scholarship Awards. She was the winner of the Golden Boot award in soccer, was basketball Queen of the Court and was MVP of the golf team. She currently holds a 3.4 GPA.

Comments from Westonka Activities Director Jeff Peterson: MWHS has had a long history of being part of the annual Athena Awards. Athena, a goddess of Greek mythology, was chosen as the symbol to represent young women athletes. Legend tells us that Athena was brave and the essence of all that is noble. All Athena Award nominees also have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Congratulations, Cori, on winning this top athlete honor!
