The Mound Westonka High School trapshooting team had 30 shooters out for trap this fall and had a safe and successful season. “Half of the team was first-year shooters, and we saw some dramatic improvement from both the new shooters and our seasoned vets,” said coach Jeff Hanratty. “We are building a great base for the future.”
The “official” trapshooting season is in the spring, and MWHS can accommodate up to 45 shooters on the team. “All boys and girls with firearms safety certificates are welcome,” Hanratty said. “If you don’t have one, please work on getting it over the winter.”
Watch for more information when spring activity registration is announced.
