Jazz Band Earns Best Scores Ever in Contest

The band earned its best ever scores from the three judges—37, 37 and 38 out of 40—for an overall Superior rating, the highest awarded. The band played three jazz standards:

White Hawks Boys Hockey to Stay in Class A

The Mound Westonka High School boys hockey team will remain in Class A after winning an appeal to the Minnesota State High School League last week. The MSHSL redraws section lines every six years and makes section adjustments every two years. Teams are placed in Class A or Class AA based on the school’s enrollment.
